How To Repair A Husqvarna 61 That's Been Sitting And Won't Start

Описание к видео How To Repair A Husqvarna 61 That's Been Sitting And Won't Start

This video shows how to diagnose and repair a 1980's era Husqvarna 61 that's been sitting with fuel in it, and won't start.

Note: I wanted to point out an error that I made during the installation of the metering diaphragm, both times that I set it back onto the carburetor. I didn't catch it while shooting the video, and discovered it afterward. This particular carburetor has a metering diaphragm that with an engagement pin that hooks under the end of the arm that actuates the metering needle. You'll see in the video, that the arm has a 2-pronged fork at the end, and the pin on the "flower" side of the diaphragm has a channel cut in it, which slots into that fork. The correct installation procedure is to keep the diaphragm folded upward like a taco, so that you can see the pin, and then slide the pin downward and into the fork. Then you let go of the diaphragm, and let it lay flat, and finally, register the diaphragm on the pins, and install the metal cover plate.
