Phono cartridge stylus types: In search of the perfect groove tracker

There are many types of phono cartridges and their various parts can change considerably from model to model. The diamond tip, or stylus, that is responsable of picking up the music from the grooves, is one of the most important and its technology is constantly evolving from the middle of the past century up to today.
