You must also follow these essential steps to avoid damaging the chiller:
1. Ensure the pump is always fully submerged in water before plugging it in to turn it on.
2. Ensure the water is clean and free of debris that could block the chiller.
3. Leave the chiller upright for at least one hour before the first use.

Setup Guide:
1. Fill your Nuvio Recovery Pod or any tub or bathtub.
2. Take the chiller out and place it by your pod or tub.
3. Take the two tubes and twist to secure them onto the two ports. It doesn't matter which way around.
4. Peel the chiller screen protector off.
5. Take out the small water pump and secure the tube connector to it, then attach it to the other tube.
6. Fully submerge the pump and plug it in to begin water circulation (fix the pump to the side of your bathtub if desired).
7. Plug the power cable into the back of the chiller and switch the chiller on.
8. Use the remote to turn the chiller on and off, and to adjust the temperature. You can also set the temperature by pressing the set button on the chiller followed by the up/down arrows.
9. Wait for the chiller temperature to drop to the desired temperature (49-52°F) (cooling times vary based on target temperature, environmental temperature and setup factors).
10. For safety, unplug/turn off the water pump prior to plunging. It is also recommended to remove the pump and tubes from the water and also turn off the chiller unit.
