Sardinia is the Italian island of paradise! We rented a boat in Cala Gonone and explored Golfo di Orosei. The water is incredible, just cool enough to cool you down in the summer and incredibly clear!

Basic info info boat rental in Sardinia:
to rent a 40 horsepower boat licence is not required, however if you’re a complete beginner I’d recommend booking a tour
you can rent in the harbour of Cala Gonone, if you’re visiting in the busy months of July and August you should consider booking in advance
Tips:
Restaurants in Italy are closed during the day and reopen between 7 pm (more 8 pm) till late at night. There are almost no exceptions, not even in the more touristic towns.
