Benidorm (2024) in the region of Alicante (Valencia) in Spain. Benidorm has a long history of tourism. The first hotels were developed in the Interbelluw in 1925. Since the 1970s international tourism has been developed through the construction of hundred of hotels and skyscrapers along the coastline. Today Benidorm has 70,000 permanent residents.
