Описание к видео Awadhi Nihari Recipe || अवधि निहारी रेसिपी || Non Veg Recipe

Nihari is a slow cooked mutton/beef curry. The word nihar originates from the arabic word ' nahaar' which means ' day' . It was served to the kings after the morning prayers. Nihari gosht is a traditional muslim dish that has slowly took over taste buds of people across the borders. It traditionally means slow cooked mutton stew said to be originated in the awadhi kitchen of Lucknow. Earlier nihari had myriad variations of spices, slow cooked over night and served the next morning on special occasions and festivals like Eid. This is a quick pressure cooker version which is a delicious amalgamation of spices, nihari gosht and rich spices and herbs. Accompany it with naan, kulcha , khameeri roti or rice.
