What is the Participatory Video and Most Significant Change technique for monitoring and evaluation?

Описание к видео What is the Participatory Video and Most Significant Change technique for monitoring and evaluation?

The Participatory Video (PV) and Most Significant Change (MSC) technique is a method of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) that combines communications technology and storytelling to gather qualitative data. This form of M&E focuses on the experience of participants and beneficiaries and their valuation of change. We like to call this the human face of change. The PVMSC technique enables people to share their stories in a meaningful and systematic way, unfolding a useful learning process for everyone involved: communities and organisations.

Addressed to anyone interested in developing new techniques to put people at the centre of monitoring, evaluation and learning, from development practitioners to academics and from researchers to activists, the PVMSC technique training provides the skills and knowledge to design PV and MSC processes to strengthen accountability for communities and support them in their resilience.

Insightshare provides online and in-person courses in Participatory Video and Most Significant Change for those who work in M&E and impact valuation.
