नई सरकार के गठन के बाद अब लोकसभा स्पीकर का चुनाव होना बाकी है. 18वीं लोकसभा का पहला सत्र 24 जून से शुरू होने जा रहा है. इस दौरान नए स्पीकर का चुनाव भी होना है. जहां एक बार फिर बीजेपी स्पीकर की कुर्सी अपने पास रखना चाहती है, तो वहीं NDA सहयोगी और किंगमेकर टीडीपी और JDU पार्टी भी यह पद चाह रही है. ऐसे में अब सत्तापक्ष और विपक्ष दोनों की निगाहें लोकसभा अध्यक्ष पर टिकी हुई हैं.
