The purpose of this video is to describe the relationships among measured dimensions using a set of rifle brass pieces. Results show that case head thickness is the largest correlate to weight. Also, rim thickness showed a small correlation. Primer pocket depth had no relationship to weight. Results suggest that case head thickness may be an important variable to utilize when sorting brass. Further testing on case head thickness is warranted.
