I'm Alice, I'm 27 years old, I come from Italy. I was born near Milan, where i grow up and studied contemporary dance with a focus on improvisation, instant composition, release technique, floorwork, contact and partnering. At 24 I moved to Rome, where I deepened my dance education and started to create artistic connections. Right now I'm part of a dance group which research che connection between new technologies, human nature and dance. I'm also dancing for other small projects and I'm a dance teacher for children and adults.
Taking part at the Biennale Danza College would be for me a great opportunity to grow as a dancer and artist. I would be hyped up to be part of Biennale's choreography for "THE HERDS" projects. To stand for climate by means of my body and dance it's something really powerful that I can't do on a daily basis. Since I'm well aware of the human footprint on the enviroment and the consequent damage, I think that as an artist I can and I want to do something about that. To cut a long story short I think that we, as human, have lost our connection to nature and I'm investigating this topic from a personal poin of view since 2021, when I did my Traineeship for an italian-scottish theatre director, whose work an artistic research is based on nature and the human relationship with it.
Last but not least, I would be grateful to work with all the amazing and incredible artists, learn and offer them, and my fellow dance artist, as much as I can.
