The temple is situated on hilltop. The hilltop can be reached by climbing 3700 steps. Thirumanjana deepam is very famous and is visible to the nearby surrounding villages and towns. It is located at a distance of 10 miles northeast of Namakkal, which is said to have been built by Poligar Ramachandra Nayaka.
