John 14:8-9
:
8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be sufficient for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so then how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?"

John 14:12:
12 Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”

John 14:13-14
:
13 “And whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”

James 4:2b-4:
2 Yet you do not have because you do not ask. 3 And you ask and do not receive...because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.
4 Don’t you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

John 16:22-24:
22 “And now therefore you have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you. 23 And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. 24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

Matthew 7:7-11
7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 9 Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!"
