Highlights from my Current Crowdfunding Project ...

I’ve created a new quickie video discussing a few more of the highlights from The Lost Art of Don Simpson, which is halfway through its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter:

As of this posting, we are at 85% of our goal with just two weeks left to go—thanks so much for you generosity and support!

I’ve obtained permission from several collaborators to include covers, trading card art, and complete short comic book stories (unseen in decades!) in The Lost Art of Don Simpson, including author Joe Clifford Faust’s “The Good Listener” from Death Rattle #15 (Kitchen Sink Press, 1988)—scanned from the original art!

Just yesterday, I scanned my brother’s collection of Hollywood Characters and More Hollywood Characters trading card art—the only art of mine he collects!—which I contributed to P.S. Mueller’s boxed sets in 1991 and 1992. These were among my last assignments for Kitchen Sink Press.

There are other goodies including caricatures, storyboards, unpublished sequences for Bizarre Heroes and my other IP, and original character concept sketches for Ms. Megaton Man, Distortia, Split-Second (a brand new character) and more.

A reminder that if you back the project at a reward level that includes an original commission drawing (or as an add-on), not only will you receive one of the the finest piece of cartoon art in India ink on Bristol board I can muster—but I will also include the image in The Lost Art of Don Simpson:
Commission drawings for backers of The Complete Megaton Man Volume I and Megaton Man: Multimensions, both from 2025, will be included in The Lost Art of Don Simpson—along with your commission drawing backing this project!
