The Walled City of Lahore Authority successfully restored the historic arsenal depot of the British era in 2019. Earlier the monument was hidden from the public eye as it was buried under 150,000 cubic feet of debris and wild plant growth. It took a great effort by the authority to remove the debris and revive the old aged monument.
