Ritchie Herron is a detransitioner, a man who at one point in his life identified as a transgender woman. Therapists, surgeons, and the trans community all lied to him that being a woman was a realistic and positive goal. After receiving vaginoplasty, or penile inversion, he experienced crushing regret. He was not warned about the terrible aftereffects of the surgery, such as total numbness, and phantom limb sensations. He is now taking legal action against the NHS.
