Unity is a game engine that can be used for 2D and 3D, but it can also be more than like VR and AR to name a few. It is very easy to use and pretty much opened the gates for more people to enter game development. Nowadays you can also do visual scripting with it, but C# is also pretty easy to learn in which you can achieve even more!
