In 1994, Phillips was contracted to make a Sonic the Hedgehog game for the CD-i, however, Phillips cancelled the project, because “Sonic’s arms were blue in the gameplay. This was a fatal flaw that we cannot put past us, as we at Phillips do not believe in making imperfections.”
