In a press release, the group said the recent arrival of the first batch of 12 state-of-the-art bullet trains in Ghana signifies a step forward in the country's journey towards enhanced connectivity.
"NPP Germany takes this opportunity to commend a monumental achievement in Ghana's transportation sector—the arrival of the first batch of 12 state-of-the-art bullet trains assembled in Poland for railway transportation in Ghana.
"To NPP Germany, we believe that this marks a historic moment, signifying a leap forward in our nation's journey towards enhanced connectivity and economic prosperity," parts of the NPP Germany press release signed by Communications Director Nana Osei Boateng said.
The release indicated that the completion of the Tema-Mpakadan Standard-Gauge Railway Line and the arrival of these modern trains herald a new era of efficiency and convenience in the country's transportation network.
The NPP Germany believes that the 97km standard-gauge railroad not only facilitates the movement of goods and people along the Eastern Corridor but also lays the foundation for broader regional connectivity with the Ghana-Burkina Faso interconnectivity
