I decided to give Ramya a BIG surprise on her Birthday!!! As the video unfolds, the surprise is revealed. I planned a 2 day vacation on Island Texel on this occasion. But first, we visited Vinayagar Temple in Den Helder, The Netherlands. Got blessing of our beloved god mighty Vinayaka.

From there we headed towards the island Texel, on a ferry. This experience is one of its kind and recommended for sure. The price for a to and fro ticket on a ferry for one car is 37 euros. The ferry also has a restaurant inside serving some drinks and snacks.

Ride to Texel from Amsterdam takes 1 hour 15 mins by car. While the drive, you see beautiful breath-taking nature amidst windmills and grazing sheep on the green cover. We reached the border of the Netherlands in Den Helder to board a ferry to Texel. Here we go!!!
