I wrote “Buying Time” as a way of expressing the pain that I felt during many dark and hard times in my life. As a person who struggles with mental health, this song talks about different struggles that a person can go through, and how sometimes it’s hard to see the good when you’re in such a dark place. But, if you keep pushing through, no matter how hard it feels, eventually the good will always prevail. I hope that anyone listeniing to this song knows that although times can be extremely rough, and it can be difficult to see the good, if you keep holding on things will get better.
