Tencent Games has already rolled out the 0.16.5 update for its popular game PUBG Mobile and with the update, the developer has introduced a new mode called Domination mode and a new map called Arena. Considering both the games are developed by Tencent Games, it is bound to borrow some of the features from one game to another. Just like, the entire in-game controls of the COD Mobile looks similar to PUBG Mobile, it is continuously getting new modes based on COD Mobile.
Talking about Domination Mode in PUBG Mobile, the name itself is familiar with the Call of Duty arena as this mode has been a part of the series for quite some time now. PUBG Mobile’s Domination Mode is somewhat similar to what we have already seen in COD Mobile.
The Domination Mode is played in a new map called Town and there will be two teams -- Red and Blue with four players in each will be pitted against each. There are a total of three bases in the map and each team is expected to capture and hold a particular base for a time for long enough without getting killed. The team capturing two bases first wins. Domination mode also gets Super Weapon Crates to give an added boost in the game.
In Domination Mode, there’s no limitation on how many times players can die in the game and respawn. The key agenda is to capture two out of three bases before the other team.
Comparing it with COD Mobile Domination Mode, two teams are divided with five players in each instead of four. Also, COD Mobile offers tons of different maps to choose from such as Summit, Crossfire, Crash, etc, while PUBG Mobile has just one map as of now.
