An impression of our visit to St Mére-Église with its famous churchtower where an American soldier named John Steel hung whole night before he was freed from his position. We also visited the Airborne museum that is found next to the church. We visited this little town on occasion of the 68th memorial of D-Day and to get a better feeling with the historical events that took place here.
