Remembering Pete Rose: Darrel Chaney reflects on the life on the Icon

There's a few names that are synonymous with Baseball, Pete Rose is one of those. From being the up and comer, to accumulating more hits than anyone in the history of the game, Pete Rose was a truly unique ballplayer.
Former Cincinnati Red and 1975 World Series champion, Darrel Chaney took the time with to speak with me about the loss of his friend, Rose's controversial exit from the game, and where Rose's Hall of Fame case stands after his passing.
Darrel spent a few seasons with Rose in Cincinnati, even winning a World Series with the Reds in 1975. Chaney explains the mindset Pete had every day, which was nothing but a winning mindset.
But, we also dive into who Rose was as a person - aside from the controversy. Who was Pete Rose away from the spotlight? Darrel has fantastic stories of being a member on the Big Red Machine, and Pete is in many of them.
Though Darrel is the main interview here, I also included snippets from previous interviews over the past few years. Dave Bristol makes an appearance, as does Doug Flynn. Thankful to everyone who had a part in this.

Pete Rose will be missed. I only hope that the Baseball Hall of Fame will one day have a plaque in the gallery with the name Pete Rose. Should Pete Rose be in the Hall of Fame? I don't think that's the question we need answered. The real question is, will Pete Rose make it into the Hall of Fame?
