How to Make the Perfect Espresso: Step-by-Step Guide

Ready to brew your first espresso? Let’s go through the steps to make the perfect cup of espresso using your machine.

First, fill the Filter with coffee grounds. Use 7-9g for a single cup and 13-15g for a double cup.

Evenly and firmly tamp the coffee grounds.

Make sure the coffee reaches the MAX line after tamping.

Wipe the edges to remove any excess coffee grounds.

Keep the Portafilter level and insert it into the Brew Head.

Rotate the Portafilter to the right until it locks into place.

Make sure the Portafilter is centered.

Place a cup on the Drip Tray under the Portafilter.

Make sure the Steam Knob is set to the OFF position.

Once all buttons are fully lit, the machine is ready to brew.

Press the 1 CUP or 2 CUP button to start brewing.

Let the machine brew your espresso.

Once brewing is complete, all buttons will light up again.

Rotate the Portafilter to the left and remove it from the Brew Head.

Remove the Espresso Puck from the Portafilter.

Wash all parts with warm water. Do not use a dishwasher.

Now you’ve made the perfect espresso! Enjoy your freshly brewed coffee, and don’t forget to clean the parts after each use
