The Centre for Humanitarian Action (CHA) has hosted the webinar "The Triple Nexus – Threat or Opportunity for the Humanitarian Principles?" on May 14, 2020. Based on the same-titled CHA discussion paper authored by Marc DuBois, CHA has invited to a discussion of the inherent challenges as well as possible chances the strengthening of ties between humanitarian, development and peace actors poses to principled humanitarian action.

Does the Triple Nexus provide the humanitarian community with the opportunity for a long overdue introspection and possible reform of the humanitarian principles? Are the threats and compromises inscribed into joining efforts with peace and development actors too severe for the integrity of humanitarian organisations and more importantly for their ability to serve affected people?
