Ex-Andhra CM, TDP’s Chandrababu Naidu Sent to 14-day Judicial Custody | Rajahmundry Jail | News9

Former Andhra Pradesh CM and TDP Chief, N. Chandrababu Naidu, has been placed in 14 days' judicial custody by ACB Vijayawada court. The CID lawyers had sought a 15-day remand, while Naidu's legal team had submitted an application to reject the remand request. While in judicial custody, CID will require court permission to question Naidu. On Monday, Naidu plans to appeal against the Anti-Corruption Bureau court's decision in the Andhra Pradesh High Court. Following the court's ruling, Naidu has been transferred to Rajahmundry Central Jail, located 200 km from Vijayawada.
