Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the Kat's Heaters Ether Start Fluid Injection System. This is going to give you a nice, simple, push-button option to inject ether into your intake manifold to make sure that your engine is going to start up efficiently and easily, even on those cold mornings. This is going to plug into your battery. It's going to get its power from your battery so you're not going to have to worry about plugging it into an outlet anywhere. So it's going to be great for not only your vehicle, but also tractors, logging equipment, or other large equipment that you can't necessary get up close to an outlet.So, this is going to work for your 4.9 up to 8.2 liter engines, whether they be diesel or gas.

And it's going to provide a nice option for you if you're in a cold environment frequently, or maybe just in the winter months. It's going to make sure that your engine is going to start very easily, even in that cold weather.Let's go over a few of the features that we have here. So this is our push button actuator. This is going to be what we mount inside the cab of our vehicle. It's going to make it much easier to control.

We don't have to have someone outside spraying fluid as we turn the key. It's going to give us a lot more control and convenience, being a push button inside the cab there.Then we also have our thermostat. This is going to mount to the engine block. It's going to measure the temperature, so if you we're to push this button on a day where it's over 50 degrees Fahrenheit you're really not going to need the ether to get your engine started. So this thermostat is going to monitor the temperature and make sure that any false activation does not go through and waste your ether.

So it will only allow it to start up, or send the ether through, if it is below 50 degrees Fahrenheit.Our actuating valve is going to meter out about five to six cc of ether for each use to prevent any sort of engine overload. So we're not going to have to worry about over injection. It's going to regulate that nicely. Our spray nozzle here has a built in filter that's going to help vaporize the ether to prevent any sort of manifold flashback. Make sure that we get a nice fine mist that will be easy to combust for the engine.This is a very energy efficient option.

It is going to connect to your 12 volt battery. It only requires about 6.5 volts to operate. And they do include about 12 feet of 16 gauge wire so that you can get all your terminals connected. They also include all the hardware that you can see here, so that you can get this mounted in place and connected to your engine and to your battery.Basically this is going to be a maintenance free option, other than, you know, changing out your fuel cylinder when it gets empty. But, an 18 ounce cylinder of your ether fast flash fueling is what's designed to be used here. Now, obviously, that cylinder is not included. But, a typical 18 ounce cylinder will last about 200 start ups. So, should be very few and far between that you have to do any sort of maintenance. So it should last you a nice long time, and get a lot of uses out of it.This does come with a three year limited warranty. So, if you we're to have any problems with it, you could give us a call. Very easy convenient way to get your engine started up on those cold mornings. You're not going to have to worry about plugging it into a wall outlet or anything like that.
