This concept would be to have a concentric spiral built into the structure of the heat shield to accommodate the ablative material during its application. The concentrical spiral design works similarly like how a cement mixer works, or a cement truck, where the flow is controlled by the paddle direction, centrifugal force, inertia, and the constant pull of gravity.

Another key design element is that the multi-axis robotic arms are attached to the base frame, which pivots up and down depending on the operation. Consequently, this design positions the robotic arms to the origin of the printed part keeping those numbers clean in the parts world space during fabrication.
