I am scouting the fields for drainage issues after a recent tropical storm. We received more than 20 inches of rain in a month. Basically, it was about half of our yearly rainfall average. The low areas in many fields experienced prolonged flooding. The yellow that you are seeing in the field are very stressed soybeans. The green streaks in the damaged area is field drainage line, known as tile lines. In the future we will use this video as a guide when adding drainage to this field.
