This week’s grocery haul is a little different.

Instead of shopping from my usual list, I used a 1933 A&P weekly menu that claimed it could feed a family of four for $11–$13 a week.

So… could we recreate it today?

In this video I:
• Walk through the original 1933 menu
• Shop for the ingredients in a modern grocery store
• Compare prices then vs. now
• And talk about what this tells us about food, inflation, and how families used to eat

Some of the meals surprised me. Some made perfect sense. And some… We’ll see.
