How To Write a Metalcore Breakdown

In today's metalcore music lesson, I go over how to write a metal breakdown with a guitar and program midi drums. Using my ‪@fender‬ Squier Bass VI and ‪@mlsoundlab‬ Drums for the metalcore drum tracks in Ableton Live. When learning how to write a metalcore song, it’s important to understand the basics, and go from a very simple breakdown to a more interesting version. Listen to how implementing sounds from the thall, deathcore and djent subgenres we can improve the overall quality of the breakdown, making it easier to mix.
