In 2023, the International Lutheran Council (ILC) celebrated 30 years since its reorganization as a "council" (although the full history of the ILC's predecessor body goes back more than seventy years). The past three decades have seen the ILC grow to become an important voice and support for Confessional Lutherans worldwide.

In October 2023, Lutheran leaders from across the globe gathered in Wittenberg, Germany to celebrate the ILC's anniversary. In this video, some of those leaders reflect on the ILC's service to Christ and His Church, and how it is positioned to continue its faithful witness to the Gospel now and into the future.
