DRDO launches biodegradable packaging products

Hyderabad, July 17 (ANI): With an aim to reduce single-use plastic, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) launched biodegradable packing products made from natural and plant-based food-grade materials. This initiative was taken by the DRDO in collaboration with Acharya Nagarjuna University and Ecolastic Products Pvt. Ltd. According to the Director of Advanced Systems Laboratory (ASL), DRDO, Dr. MRM Babu, “Eco-friendly products like these are essential for the survival of mankind and DRDO has played a vital role in bringing it out”.
