Transitioning to the new phone, without transferring my SIM card from the old phone to the new, has given me some challenges regarding uploading the new, quality footage on YouTube...

My intention was to upload daily videos and I don't count Shorts as daily videos; just as an added bonus of covering my journeys. Therefor I'm one video behind on the intended upload schedule, and that means I'll be sharing two videos today! The one I tried to upload all day yesterday; being this video. And a new, yet to capture video from today, somewhere in the late afternoon to early evening!

Anyway first this video!

One of the major reasons I had to visit Wales during this trip is this train... No, not because I had to capture the new sets, because I've got years to come to do so. No, it's because of the trains they are replacing: The Class 221 Super Voyager high-speed, diesel-electric intercity stock. The last full diesel high-speed trains of Avanti West Coast, formerly Virgin Trains. I wasn't even sure they would still be in service, but luckily a few sets are still to be found under AWC and I have already managed to capture a couple of those (As you could have seen in the pre-video I've uploaded as a short)!

That I'm here for the Super Voyager, does however not mean I won't be capturing the new Evero dubbed units of Avanti, because I'll be capturing whatever I can during my stay in Wales. After I've gone to Scotland and subsequently England, I won't be able to capture these trains anymore after all.

I have to say, the Hitachi A-Trains do look good in this Avanti West Coast livery, and luckily; they also still have diesel engines....
