Which is best? The NCRQ Diploma vs the NEBOSH Diploma?

Will Taylor from Compassa gives a BRUTALLY honest and non-biased assessment of both the NCRQ Diploma and the NEBOSH Diploma. The NCRQ Diploma is a distance learning option which is very good and is assessed by a combination of assignments and closing interviews. If you are looking for a distance route, then it is definitely worth considering if you are based in the UK. Unfortunately it does not have the same recognition outside of the UK. But, like the NEBOSH Diploma, it does give you Graduate Membership of IOSH. In theory, once you have worked your way up to Chartered Membership, it should not make much difference which route you have chosen. For those who are crippled by exam anxiety, you should probably choose NCRQ over NEBOSH.
The NEBOSH Diploma is still the world's most recognised level 6 H&S qualification. The exams are notoriously difficult. For those who do NOT want a distance learning option, then it would be the best choice. There are many course providers, some better than others, and they offer a variety of formats such as classroom block release, full time, part-time, evening study, etc. However, choose your course provider carefully as there is some variation in the quality of course materials and tutors.
