This is a Fender Standard Stratocaster that I refinished with 2 types of flake. A mini royal blue flake to cover the base coat, and a halographic blue flake to add more bling to the sparkle effect. Its hard to tell the base coat was black. The mini blue flakes gave me a gauge to how much flake was being applied. When I couldnt see the black anymore, I knew it was evenly covered.
