I've been waiting so long for this... Temtem is the Pokemon evolution that previous franchises simply couldn't provide. There's nothing better than taming monsters! I've been watching Temtem since its kickstarter days and it has finally come to fruition.
While this is a blind lets play I feel confident in my ability to persevere and get this Temtem lets play completed without much issues. I'm not sure what the competitive battling scene of Temtem looks like at the moment, but I'm sure I'll get there too.
Dayton Does will trek the Airborne Archipelago and enslave... I mean, befriend as many Temtem as possible along the way. I'm hoping for some big Temtem expansion DLC somewhere down the road, but first we will need to push through. So let's play Temtem!

Story Campaign: Journey across six vivid islands and embark on the adventure of becoming a Temtem tamer while fighting against the evil Clan Belsoto.
Online World: The days of traveling solo are over; in Temtem the world is a massively multiplayer one. Tamers from around the world can join and you will be able to see them around you, living the adventure with you and fighting to become the best Temtem tamer.
Co-Op Adventure: You will be able to join forces with a friend any time and work together towards your next goal. Catch new Temtem, complete a Route, or face off against a Temtem Leader; all while fighting alongside your friend in dual battles!
Housing: Buy your own house at Atoll Row and decorate it your way. Buy new furniture, color your walls and you’ll be ready to invite your friends over!
Customize: Customize your character to stand out from the crowd and get new cosmetics while you battle other tamers. Pick a silly hat, a comfy sweatshirt, some pants and you’re ready to go! Or maybe you prefer to wear a full-on cosplay of your favorite Temtem?
Competitive: Start by choosing 8 Temtem and the pick and ban phase will begin. Take turns with your rival to pick your Temtem and ban theirs. When all the decisions are made and the turns are ended, you will end up with a squad of 5 Temtem and the battle will begin.
Always Growing: New content is constantly being added to Temtem, new events, new missions, new cosmetics, new Temtem, and new ways to play!
This is a promising game with a very solid start! It plays as you'd expect a Pokemon-inspired game to, with some innovative twists and different takes. All battles are 2v2, and instead of moves having PP, you have energy that recharges for each new battle. Moves use different amounts of energy, and, if you overspend, your Temtem takes damage for overexerting.
Monster designs are middling to good. Some of them are absolutely excellent! There's a few real standout designs; Barnshe is by far my favorite, both in name and design, but all of the starter choices are pretty good. There are no Temtem species designs I've encountered that I would consider outright bad, though I do feel a few are missing that special spark. Pigepic, I think, is the most notable of the 'just okay' ones. The graphics / aesthetics are cute. It's a soft, pastel-ish style with a friendly and calm feel to it. It's a little too safe for my preferences, but it's appropriate for the game and it's not ugly or overdone. The one issue I do actually have with it is a bit of a big one to me, though... most of the human faces are very unfitting! They're kind of creepy, actually. I can't say anything of the community, yet, as there's no chat or anything, but it is extremely cool to see other people around and with their Temtem out. - Werewolf Cowboy
