I am using dried Gotu Kola to do steam distillation. Within 25 minutes I collected 500mL of hydrosol. Fresh made hydrosol is cloudy because it contains some oil and hydrophilic compounds extracted from the plant. Gotu Kola is known for its anti-aging function which may help improve collagen production and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
