If you like solid wood, this is the board for you. The playing surface is made of solid hardwood - not plywood, MDF veneers or any other type of manufactured wood product. In addition, it is made to tournament specifications with a 26" playing surface, 1/2" tall playing surface and a round design. It is fully finished and very smooth.

The bumpers can be removed so that you can wax your board without obstruction. We recommend using Mother's Spray wax to keep your board fast. The bumpers are covered in latex and the bounce from that material is amazing. You will enjoy the fast action of this board.

Solid hardwood expands and contracts a little through the seasons due to varying humidity levels. To allow for this motion and prevent the playing surface from cracking or warping, we have attached the playing surface to the base with strong magnets instead of glue. The magnets are very strong, so you can travel with or display your board with confidence.
