With over 45 GB of 2,000 high resolution images Severe Cyclone Errol (29U) started in the Indian Ocean then landed in the Kimberley in Western Australia. This 4K UHD color video is composed of Himawari satellite day and night images for April 14, 2025 through April 19, 2025. Synchronized with 24 satellite images per second, 4 hours of real-time weather are viewed each second.

Credit for the images goes to a collaboration between the JMA Meteorological Satellite Center and the NOAA/NESDIS/STAR GOES-R Algorithm Working Group imagery team.

NOTE: Lighted areas shown in nighttime images are not real-time depictions of city lights. The layer is derived from a compilation of JPSS VIIRS Day Night Band images and is included for orientation purposes.
