At the National Space Centre we're always looking at ways that we can help protect our environment:

☀️ 742 solar panels help power the Centre
🦆 We've adopted part of the River Soar, with thanks to Canal & River Trust
🐤 We've installed bird boxes for swifts, which are in decline in the UK
💡 Switched to a green energy supplier and use LED lighting wherever possible
♻️ We try to recycle as much waste as we can and use packaging and cutlery made from vegetables

This is just the beginning of our journey to become more environmentally sustainable. #SpaceForEveryone #Environment #Sustainability
