Tal Yarden is a Video Artist and Tony-nominated Designer based in Brooklyn, NY. He collaborated with Mimi Goese and many other brilliant artists in the East Village of the 80s. He has created films, music videos, live video & VJ’d, for David Bowie, Pat McGrath, Rick Owens, Balenciaga, Ezster Balint, Annie Lennox, Alicia Keys, Snoop Dogg, 10,000 Maniacs, James Brown, Barkmarket, Wyclef Jean, The Silos, Throwing Muses, Peaches, & Patti Smith. His video, Counting Sheep, was featured in Times Square. As a designer he has created projections for numerous Broadway & West End shows including Network, Get Up Stand Up, and Anna X. He has collaborated with many directors and choreographers on shows that have been seen in opera houses, theaters and clubs around the world.

August 7, 2024 – Today, “the great lost band of post-punk” (Louder Than War) Hugo Largo are releasing remastered versions of “Martha” and “Turtle Song” from their 1989 LP Mettle for the first time ever on streaming. Mettle was originally released on Brian Eno’s Opal Records label as a follow up to their first LP Drum, produced by Michael Stipe and Hugo Largo. Both records are included in the Huge, Large and Electric box set, along with an album’s worth of new material titled Unreleased and Live: 1984-1991, out on September 13 via Missing Piece Records as a three-LP or two-CD collection. Hugo Largo consists of Mimi Goese, Adam Peacock, Hahn Rowe, and Tim Sommer.
