WE’RE GOING TO BE FRIENDS - The White Stripes (Cover)

“We’re Going to Be Friends” by The White Stripes was [I believe] my first White Stripes song (along with “Seven Nation Army” and “Fell in Love with a Girl”). I first heard it performed by Jack Johnson in the Curious George film (2006) before discovering The White Stripes - I fell in love with this song before later falling in love with the duo. For that reason alone, this song holds a special place in my heart and means so much to me.

For this arrangement, I changed the key from G-major to B-major. I wanted this arrangement to have a spooky vibe and a calming tone.
