St Mary’s Church is a Grade I listed building with parts dating to the 12th century, featuring stunning medieval glass once thought to be from Hailes Abbey—admired by William Morris himself.

Estate architecture & Rothschild legacy: Many cottages, the old schoolhouse, and manor buildings were influenced or built by the Rothschild family and architect George Devey in the 19th century.

Village charm: With honey‑coloured stone homes, some thatched roofs, a picturesque green, pond, and historic barn, Buckland radiates rural elegance in every corner.
