Episode guest is Kelly Estes, Author of "The Cost of Courage" a work of military fiction based upon the true story of two brothers who served in the arial campaigns of WWII. Kelly is only 22 years old and the fact that as she was graduating Santa Clara University and was publishing a book at the same time, shows that this gal has talent and drive! Her book the Cost of Courage was based on two uncles that were in World War II. One uncle made it back alive and the other did not. The book is fiction, but according to Kelly there is "a lot" of truths to what is in it.

At 19, she became the youngest Santa Clara County Human Relations Commissioner and at 21 became the Youngest Ever Chair of the Justice Review Committee for that Commission. Kelly did research for a project in high school that got her interested in the stories of WWII vets. Then in college it all seemed to fit together and she published the book before she graduated. On the day of graduation the book was out!

She has traveled around the USA for the past year plus meeting with vets, doing book signings and radio shows.
