Riding a Broken KTM 690 from Monument Valley to Moab

Monument Valley is beautiful, but not if you breakdown. My KTM 690 Enduro needed a weld for a broken subframe and the services Monument Valley offers are lean and random. We decide to go up to Moab to get the necessary work done.

We double back through the town of Mexican Hat and to the Mexican Hat rock where the town gets its name. A balanced rock just off Utah Hwy 163. After making for Roadrunner and Coyote jokes Systad takes off for a solo motorcycle tour of Valley of the Gods. I take the cement road route and all its boring lack of glory. Haha. Separately we both make it by towns like Blanding and Monticello until Moab comes into view.
In the morning a Mad Dog Powersports in Moab quick fix is made so I can join Systad to get riding on trail and as soon as we get to the Utah backcountry my KTM 690 loses an O2 sensor and the day is shot.
