🗻 About Mount Fuji
Height of Mt Fuji 3,775 m

There are four climbing routes leading to the summit of Mt Fuji.
(1) Yoshida Route: Fuji Subaru Line fifth station
(2) Subashiri Route: Subashiguchi fifth station
(3) Gotemba Route: Gotemba-guchi Shin-gogome
(4) Fujinomiya route: Fujinomiya-guchi fifth station

This time, I climbed the mountain from the Yoshida Route, the fifth station of the Fuji Subaru Line (1), which is relatively easy even for beginners.
🗻What we noticed when we climbed
As there is a risk of altitude sickness, it is recommended to stay overnight at the fifth station to allow your body to acclimatise before climbing to the summit.
There is no running water on Mt Fuji.
Fuji, nor are there any springs or wells on the way up Mt Fuji, due to the geological features that allow water to pass through easily.
Hand-washing water in mountain huts and toilets is not drinkable, as it is made from rainwater and other accumulated water.
Therefore, you must always be prepared with drinking water when climbing Mt.Fuji.
