A Beckley, West Virginia produced PBS TV Show, which had a faux basement hobby room set and was hosted by Mike Lech, who always does an intro usually dealing with the full size vehicle or structure being modeled, a mid-point piece returning to the full size item and wrap-up at the end.

Mike Lech walks down the "stairs from no where" talking through his introduction of the modeler who would already be at the work bench table "below" in the basement. Mike would ask questions during the whole build presentation setting up the explanation of the techniques being demonstrated.

It was aimed at both the novice and serious modeler in that basic modeling was described as well advanced techniques. A truly nostalgic trip down memory lane for those who caught this show on PBS in the 1980s.
