In this video, we react to The Victoria Cross: For Valour with Jeremy Clarkson — Britain’s highest military honour and one of the rarest awards in the world. We’d received so many suggestions to watch this, but went in knowing almost nothing about the Victoria Cross or its history.

The story of Major Robert Henry Cain absolutely stunned us. His bravery was beyond anything we could imagine — and calling him fearless might even be an understatement. From the intense battlefield moments to the surprising twist at the end explaining why Jeremy Clarkson focused so much on Cain, this documentary had us hooked from start to finish.

With only around 1,350 Victoria Crosses ever awarded since 1856, learning the history, the meaning, and the incredible courage behind this medal gave us a whole new respect for the soldiers who have earned it.
