In this video I will introduce you to my technique for making a piano hinged journal that fits in a box. A piano hinge involves a series of tabs linked by, in this case, bamboo straws. I have created a technique that uses a piano hinge but also allows you to remove the journal signatures making it easier to create art on the pages. I will teach you to make this journal in a series of videos over the next few weeks.
